Guests from outwith the UK may like to witness Val Doonican in action here.

(And guests from outwith Scotland might like to know that "outwith" is an old, distinguished Scottish word. Along with outlie, outplay, outlabour, outshot, outfight, etc. It means "outside". But you probably worked that out.)

  1. Erm... yes!

The Baroque is full of detail and decoration for its own sake and with little regard to what the decoration is on. The best definition I've ever read of it: "baroque is scared of empty spaces."
